Title: Consultant, Brand and Communications

Report to: Brand Manager, Brand and Communications
Background:
The Officer Level Consultant supports the communication and marketing work for the Partnership Development and Public Engagement Department (PDPE) of One Planet Foundation (OPF) and the joint communication projects with WWF in China. OPF is WWF’s exclusive strategy partner in China.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Be responsible for the communications component of PDPE department and better use of the organizations’ resources to fulfilling PDPE strategy, supporting the partnership and public engagement functions.
Work with different function teams in PDPE department and partners outside the organization to develop and implement joint communications strategies to support the partnership.
Write, review and coordinate plan and copy for joint events, campaigns, and other joint communication activities.
Support the Priority Project for PDPE department, such as the implement of Earth Hour and 1864 Panda Tour.
Support the production of a regular news updates for PDPE department, such as website and social media.
Need to be in the office for at least 3 days per week during the legal working days in China.

Strong presentation and business/analytical skills.
Highly organized and excellent coordination skills, able to proactively identify and organize resources for providing support to team members.
Ability to progress multiple projects at the same time and prioritize time and resource appropriately.
A flexible attitude to work yet self-disciplined.
University degree, a PR, communications, media or marketing-related field is preferred.
Good English language proficiency is preferred.
At least 2 years of working experience in related area is preferred.
