Title: Assistant Program Officer, Fresh Talent for Conservation
Location: Shanghai / Shenzhen
Main Responsibilities:
• Assist with priority project implementation and coordination, including documentation and database, workplan & budget, research and PPTs, meeting and event organization, project contracts preparation, contract management, concepts and proposals development etc with timely manner;
• Support supervisor to develop and maintain partnership with research institutes, relevant government agencies, NGOs, media, and businesses in China;
• Support information collection from partners, offices and prepare technical & monitoring report or communication materials;
• Support the development of funding opportunities for priority project;
• Work under supervisor to support building and maintaining sound relationship with network and non-network donors;
• Perform other duties related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
• Bachelor's degree or above in related majors, such as conservation biology, environment sciences, as well as natural resources management;
• Excellent graduates preferred, NGO volunteer background preferred;
• Ability to work cross-culturally and communicate with others clearly;
• Strong skills in report writing, proposal development, data analysis and information management;
• Ability to think independently and solve problems;
• Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork spirit, strategic thinking, result oriented, self-motivated, innovative, resilience of pressure
